Vicki Hall

Prior to this role as a Rural Financial Counsellor, Vicki worked at Rural Assistance Authority as an Assessment Officer working with the Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate and Special Disaster Grants and the Regional Investment Corporation assessing loan applications and working with clients to put business plans together demonstrating their ability to meet concessional loan criteria. Prior to that Vicki worked in the Accountancy and Financial Planning industries, managing operations for firms.

After completing a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Psychology Vicki travelled overseas and lived in England while completing her Diploma in Professional Counselling. On return to Australia and her hometown of Young in NSW, she spent ten years in the employment and recruitment industries working with rural and small businesses all through the Riverina, Southwest Slopes and Central West.

Vicki grew up on a farm west of Young where her family grew cereal crops as well as breed sheep and cattle and now lives on property in the Canowindra area where her husband manages approximately 4500ha running angus cattle and prime lambs.  Horse riding has always been a large part of her life, having competed in many agricultural shows, dressage, show jumping and eventing competitions, currently her family are involved in playing polocrosse with some lovely Australian Stock Horses while Vicki still aims to return to the dressage discipline with her home bred warmblood filly in the near future.

Vicki aims to draw on her agricultural background and her financial and loan assessment experience to assist farming business, she has an understanding the of challenges that farming families can face with their financial operations as a result of many variables involved in the agricultural industries.
