I grew up in Scone, NSW on my family’s dairy farm which was later transformed into a thoroughbred agistment property. I completed a Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Economics at the University of New England before becoming an Agribusiness Analyst for NAB Agribusiness. After a two-year career break to travel the world, I returned to NAB in the Commercial Broking sector before becoming a Business Banking Manager for Professional Services. I then gained experience in the finance broking industry before studying a Master of Teaching (Secondary). After three and a half years of teaching, I decided to return to the finance industry into my current role with RFCS NSW.
Being a Rural Financial Counsellor brings me great job satisfaction as it brings together my financial background, my passion for the agricultural industry, and my want to help others and improve their financial situations.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service Program is funded by the Australian Government and the New South Wales Government and is administered by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
