Jillian has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years with the last 14 years being in the Agri Finance sector. Over this time, Jill gained valuable experience in a wide range of agricultural industries.
Jill spent many years working with farmers during good times and in more difficult times, including recent bushfires and floods. She was working alongside Rural Financial Counsellors on a regular basis, trying to keep farmers updated with any assistance they could potentially receive. So, it then became an easy choice to move from Agri banking to the Rural Financial Counselling Service.
Born and raised in Victoria, her family were involved in horse training, and horse riding became a big part of Jill’s life – competing in multiple disciplines.
She purchased a small property in rural Southeast Riverina region of NSW where she has horses and continues to be involved in local clubs with her children now also riding and competing.
She is passionate about assisting the people in this industry and in her community to achieve their business goals.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service Program is funded by the Australian Government and the New South Wales Government and is administered by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
