Jade joined our service in January 2023 to assist our Central Region team of Rural Financial Counsellors with admin and operational matters.
She hit the ground running assisting clients with flood grant applications and claims – and having been affected by storms and flooding over recent years, she has a personal understanding of the devastation of loss and the isolation that comes with being cut off during these events.
She has lived on farming property in Central NSW since 2012 with her partner who operates a broadacre farming operation, however, grew up on the mid north coast of NSW. Though not directly involved in the farming operation, farming/growing is somewhat in her blood with her father having grown up on a dairy farm and her maternal grandfather being a fruit and vegetable grower and beekeeper in his time.
Jade holds certificates in Business Administration, Hospitality and Leadership & Management and has an extensive administration and customer service background across a range of industries, including legal and local government.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service Program is funded by the Australian Government and the New South Wales Government and is administered by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
