Danielle Davenport

Danielle joined the RFCS as a Rural Financial Counsellor after working with the RIC and RAA seeking a role that was able to provide a more holistic approach with Rural assistance.

Raised in Molong as a child and then later moving to a hobby farm outside of Orange where she attended high school. She has worked in a variety of senior management roles but her passion is people and property where she has spent most of her working career. She was the owner of a large independent Real Estate Agency with 5 offices and in excess of 100 team members and was successful in being awarded no 17 on BRW’s top 50 Australian entrepreneurial women and number 70 in BRW’s fastest growing 100 business. During this time attaining her Diploma in Business and her Diploma in Property enabling her to become a licensed agent and auctioneer.

Her career as a businesswoman and the opportunity to help and mentor team members has been more of a career highlight than any award that she has received. She transitioned away from business ownership to more community-based roles raising money for charities and was recognised for this with the Telstra Community award.

She was fortunate to manage in conjunction with her husband, Defence Holiday Suites located in Queensland which facilitated affordable holiday and transitional accommodation for current and former serving defence personnel. During her sea change to the Byron Area, she became a qualified yoga teacher and a Wellness Coach facilitating health retreats for anxiety and PTSD.

She relocated back to Orange some years ago to be closer to family and still have family on the land in Parkes.  More recently her and her husband have been working with Rotary to increase the Mental Health services that are available to Youth in the Region.

She is very excited to contribute to the success of the team at the RFCS NSW with the assistance we can provide to Regional NSW.
