As a Rural Financial Counselling Service Board Director, Anita brings valuable insight to rural and remote business needs through a life-long connection to regional communities in NSW. From a farming family, Anita is a former small business owner, and she complements this experience with over 25 years of work in accounting, legal and financial reporting for NSW Riverina and Canberra-based businesses. Anita cemented her career experience with a Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting).
Anita’s passion for regional and rural community sustainability is what attracted her to the RFCS. “Growing the financial literacy and business acumen of rural business owners is one part of the solution for regional towns to persist, prosper and support their community through good and hard times”. With two of her four children 4th generation farmers. Anita has a continued connection to regional Australia and believes deeply in the sound guidance and support able to be provided by the RFCS.
