Glen has been in the banking industry as a bank manager and residential lender for 19 years. Prior to banking, Glen managed large retail businesses including Kmart, Big W and Bunnings all over NSW and spent 4 years in PNG and Fiji managing retail operations.
Glen has lived in Oberon for 22 years on a small property just out of town with his wife and two children. He was the Oberon Citizen of the Year in 2019 and is heavily involved in the local community, having facilitated financial workshops for young adults. Glen is the President of the Oberon Show Society and Treasurer of the Oberon Rotary club, High school P&C and Sports centre and is on the Board of Land Mangers for the Oberon Showground.
Glen wants to utilise his financial and business experience to assist primary producers in his area to assess and improve their operations and advocate for farmers.
The Rural Financial Counselling Service Program is funded by the Australian Government and the New South Wales Government and is administered by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry
